Ellington Has a New Youth Services Director

Lifelong Ellington resident Kristen Harp has been named the town's new Youth Services Director. A familiar and trusted presence in the community, Kristen has dedicated more than 20 years to serving Ellington’s residents, beginning her career with the Recreation Department in 2003.

 

Over the years, she has grown through a variety of roles, including Camp Director, Administrative Secretary for Recreation and Human Services, and most recently Assistant Youth Services Director. Her deep understanding of the community and longstanding relationships with local youth and families make her a natural fit to lead the department into its next chapter.

 

Town leadership expressed strong support for the promotion, highlighting Kristen’s commitment, experience, and passion for developing meaningful programs. In her new role, she looks forward to continuing to support and expand opportunities for Ellington’s youth and families.

 

Residents are encouraged to join in congratulating Kristen on this well-deserved achievement as she steps into this important leadership position.
